Kicked Out Fund

The Kicked Out Fund is an opportunity for partnership between Homofactus Press, the Kicked Out Anthology, and LGBTQ youth homeless shelters, and agencies providing services to homeless LGBTQ youth. The goal behind the fund is to work in collaboration with direct service agencies to raise awareness about the epidemic of LGBTQ youth homelessness, and as a fundraising tool for participating organizations.

Pioneered at Michigan’s Ozone House, the Kicked Out Fund has already proven a useful tool for engaging community members around the epidemic of LGBTQ youth homelessness, as well as a successful tool to increase community based donations. Kicked Out Fund participating organizations will have the opportunity to purchase bulk orders of the anthology at a discount to be used as donor gifts, or to sell as part of overall fundraising. Kicked Out Fund partnering organizations will also be listed on the Kicked Out website and on future promotional materials connected with the Kicked Out Fund.
